The World of Faerûn - Weekly Update
@everyone has received 7 PD. PD points are cumulative.
In addition, we have a few more new measures being implemented today:
1- All new players will have their first (main) chracters start at level 3 and alts at level 1. Any player may have up three characters total as long as the requirements are met. To have one alt your main must be level 5, for two alts you main must be level 6, and your first alt level 3. Any player who created their main before 14-03-21 will receive 30 PD to be used only towards training.
2- If character death is caused during a DM encounter, be it dice or dm choice, and any sort of ressurection spell is not used, you will be awarded half the pd spent on leveling the character. This pd can only be used in the creation of a new character.

3- Factions will now have jobs available to their members. These jobs are there to help add more flavor to your character and RP similar to the way traits, bonds, ideals, and flaws do. These jobs and associated rules are adapted from Acquisitions Incorporated.
All factions have Secretarian, Decisionist, and Documancer. Each faction has two other jobs that are shared with only one other faction. The list is as follows:
+Emerald Enclave
Secretarian, Decisionist, Documancer, Cartographer, Loremonger
+Harpers

5- All of the factions get a permanent buff that correlates with their factions themes to allow for individualization and the ability to help with their area of expertise. Each week each faction will have 3 points that can be distributed and spent for faction needs. These points will reset each week, are not cumulative, and are not used for personal use or gain.
These points will specifically be used for faction purposes, or if members are in dire need of equipment or resources to do faction related tasks. These points will also be distributed by faction leaders if they need to be. When these points are used, you will need to specifically state that you are using one of these points in the PD channels, and are expected to keep track of said points within the faction in a place where all members can see them.
- These points may also be used for own faction agenda.
- Factions can also use these points for PD channels that the other factions are 'proficient' in but will need to use all 3 points rather than just 1.
Channels factions can spend in:
Emerald Enclave- Hunting - Spending one point allows the Enclave to form a hunting party with other members and go hunting.
Lords Alliance- Carousing - Spending one point allows the LA to carouse for faction needs without the use of personal PD points needing to be spent. Roll with advantage on check.
The Zhentarim- Crime - Spending one point allows the Zhents to commit crime for faction needs without the use of personal PD points needing to be spent.
[9:29 AM]
The Harpers- Research - Spending one point allows the Harpers to research for faction needs without the use of personal PD points needing to be spent. Roll with advantage on check.
The Order of the Gauntlet- Shopping - Spending one point allows the OOG to buy any magical equipment that is +1, +2, or +3 with no additional effects or features, without the use of spending personal PD points for faction needs.
6-Each faction is given 2 PD each week to spend directly on another factions agenda to represent the unity of each faction working together to help and support each other in these times of building an alliance.
These points are not cumulative and they can not be used on the factions own agenda. This is to be decided by the faction leader or leaders on how they are spent. When points are spent, both points need to be spent at once on only one faction.
